Kia Corporation has unveiled its ambitious global strategy to speed up the electric vehicle (EV) revolution. The company presented three new small-to-medium-sized Kia EVs at Korea's annual Kia EV Day. These are the EV5, featuring the compact electric SUV made for millennial families, and two concept models, the EV3, an electric compact SUV, and the EV4, a redefined electric sedan. Kia aims to expand its lineup and charging infrastructure to make EVs more accessible. Their goal is to achieve one million annual electric vehicle sales by 2026. Furthermore, they want to sell 1.6 million units by 2030. The company also wants to further enhance its customer service. They want to create offline hubs, an integrated app, and generative AI technology. Kia will focus on improving charging infrastructure and expanding its global production facilities.
